Scene It? The DVD Game: Scene It? The DVD Movie Game
is for the film buff what a double-fudge brownie sundae is
for the chocoholic. Players take turns moving around the game
board and answering challenges, which usually take the form
of trivia questions--about movies, of course. Questions are
culled from either a box of cards, much like Trivial Pursuit,
or from onscreen prompts that follow movie clips. READ

Lord
of the Rings: The Hobbit Board Game: Journey to Middle-earth
to defeat the evil dragon Smaug in this unique and beautifully
illustrated board game based on The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien's
predecessor to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Unlike most
games, where players try to defeat one another, players must
work together here in order to be victorious. While traveling
the game board, they face challenges of luck, skill, and wit
as they gather precious jewels. Game play is complex and,
though you need not have read the book before playing the
game, those who have read it will likely appreciate the game
a bit more. But like any good game, it gets more exciting
as you go along and the cooperative angle is a welcome change
of pace. -Amazon.com

Lord
of the Rings: Risk: If you like Risk, you'll love
this! And while you don't have to like LOTR to enjoy it, it
certainly adds to your enjoyment. The units (Elven Archers,
Orcs, Riders of Rohan, Dark Riders, Eagles and Cave Trolls)
are nice eye candy, which stand for 1,3,5 armies. (And I highly
recommend you treat them as such since the board will get
cluttered otherwise). The variant rules not only make it more
fun, but more strategic... READ
