I just purchased and watched the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2. I did very much enjoy the Richard Donner shot scenes a lot. I do feel the Richard Lester was an overall more well rounded movie. I did like the added scenes with Jor El. I think it makes more scenes to have him appear at the Fotress of Solitude instead of his mother. I did find myself missing the Effiel Tower scene. I liked the scene with Lois trying to prove Clark is Superman at the Daily Planet. I think that was better than the river scene in Lester's version. All in all, I plan to keep both versions of Superman 2 in my DVD collection.

Ok, so now a conversation at work finally makes sense.
There are now two different editions of Superman 2... Good. I'll see if I can get that one through work for myself.
