Default Fame Blu-ray Contest

Fame (The Original Movie) Blu-ray Contest

Are you gonna live forever? Are you gonna learn how to fly? This Blu-ray edition of the original 1980's Fame movie might inspire you to start reaching for the stars. In the least, it will introduce you to the story of teenage musicians, actors, dancers and dreamers who attend New York City's High School for the Performing Arts. The students endure seven classes a day and receive only a hot lunch, all while they go through the process of honing their talents, confronting realities, finding love and living life.

Special Features: Fame includes an On Location with Fame featurette and a field trip featurette that visits the real school that inspired the movie. For more information on this and other titles, visit Warner Bros.

To Enter the Contest:

We all dream of having fame, even if it begins with singing into a shampoo bottle in the shower. In a reply to this thread, share with everyone a song that you remember belting out in the shower. If you've never hit the high notes while showering, tell us your favorite song to sing to in the car or anywhere else.

Good Luck.

I remember belting out Run to the Hills (among other Maiden classics) in my earlier days on the drive to work...Good times!

A lot of Kimya Dawson songs. Especially It's Been Raining has been prominently featured in my soaky serenades.

My favorite song would be Fearless by Taylor Swift. This song makes me feel like i can handle anything that the day is gonna throw at me. It makes me feel empowered and fierce. I am always belting this song out in the car and the shower

Feeling good by muse.

Its one of my favourite covers, i love the nina simone version as well but there is something about the way that muse has covered the song. I hate it when people sing it exactly the same and don't put their own style into it but with muse they have. And singing along is amazing. My favourite line in the song is 'sleep in peace' because you can sing it in a real blues/jazz way with a glissando on the peace raising the notes higher and higher. It just sounds amazing!

Don't laugh. I love to belt out Miley Cyrus's Party In The USA. My daughter got me into the song and I love it. I don't tell anyone at work, but it's one of my favorites and on my Ipod.

Britney Spears songs are great songs to sing to in the shower as are Destiny's Child but one of my all time favorites happens to be Nobody's Fool by Cinderella. You just feel powerful or something with the yelling. Great stress relief. "I'm not your fooooool, nobody's fool, nobody's fool, I'm no fooooooooooool!"

I love to sing the song Centerfold by J Geils Band. Have been singing it since I was a kid.

I have really grown a liking to Miley Cyrus's music. I know that a lot of people find her chintzy, but I love her music and find myself singing The Climb on a regular basis. In the car, in the shower, cooking breakfast. It's a song that really inspires me.

I am an all american man. I sing Born In The USA all the time. Not as good as Srpingsteen singing it, but I can give him a run for his money.
