March of the Penguins (Limited Edition Giftset) DVD Contest

March of the Penguins, narrated by Morgan Freeman, is a 2005 Academy Award Winning Documentary about the life of Antarctic Emperor Penguins. French filmmaker Luc Jacquet and his devoted crew endured a full year of extreme conditions in Antarctica in order to record a life cycle of these magnificent creatures. The movie captures life, loss, family and birth in some of the harshest conditions on earth.

Special Features: The Limited Edition March of the Penguins DVD Giftset includes the movie and a bonus DVD, an all new 2009 documentary titled On the Wings of Penguins (view a clip) about the lives of warm weather African Penguins.

The gift set also includes a huggable plush penguin toy and a set of 8 penguin postcards, making it a terrific gift for either yourself or a loved one.

For more details: Visit the official Warner Bros. March of the Penguins site.

To Enter the DVD Contest:

Share your favorite movie or TV show featuring a live animal as a significant part of the story and tell everyone why you like it. As always, there is no length requirement for your post.

Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken was a childhood favorite of mine. I remember seeing it in third grade at the 'Super Sleepover' in my elementary school library. It is about a girl and horse high diving team during the Great Depression. The girl is accidently blinded during the routine but eventually gets back up on the horse against the wishes of others and performs again. This is also the last movie that Michael Schoeffling (Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles) acted in.

For me this was an easy answer.....Old Yeller. It's just as good now as it was when I was a kid...and just as sad. The dog and all the characters are likable and fun to watch.

Free Willy because it was one of the first non-animated movies I remember watching and enjoying. The only films I can remember before that were mainly disney films like Bambi, Pinocchio etc.

Default Favorite animal movie

My all time favorite animal in a movie is Clint Eastwood's Every Which Way But Loose. Clyde was awesome.
