Natural Born Killers - Your Favorite Serial - DVD Contest

Join us as we celebrate the Original Uncut Version (a.k.a. the Director's Cut) of Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers. The movie follows delivery boy Mickey (Woody Harrelson) and his customer Mallory (Juliette Lewis) as they travel across the country carrying out gruesome murders. In order to become legends, the pair leave one person alive at each of their slaughters who can describe what happened. Soon, Mickey and Mallory become instant folk heroes, mostly due to the media's relentless obsession with violence and the public's willingness to consume the twisted headlines.

It's most definately Zodiac. The film is a whole-hearted study on themes of obsession and murder, and for something that spans three hours it has always managed to keep my interest up for a surprising amount of time.

that natural born killers is my favorite movie with a serial killer. i love its ideas about the media following mickey and mallory for lack of any better story. america almost seems to cheer these two on, making it an ideal political thriller and one of oliver stones greatest. its themes, its music (including a great song by NIN), and its violent scenes give you the feeling that you are walking alongside mickey and mallory every step of the way. you want to look away, hell, you might even want to do something about their rampages. but in the end you find yourself cheering them on in some manner. its an excellent movie, and it wraps you up in the exact sort of message it promotes. you become a victim. The fact that quentin tarantino was dissapointed by the script becoming what it is now, i feel sorry he never felt the way about the movie like i did. its a very open movie, and has a grainy look to it. i especially love the scenes in black and white, and sepia. its one movie everyone needs to experience atleast once in their lifetime.

The Hannibal Lecter movies, particularly Red Dragon. I read the book in high school at the recommendation of a teacher and after speaking with him discovered that the painting mentioned was real. Later when the movie came out, I was excited to see how they pulled the picture in. It made the whole story fit together.

For me it has to be Dexter! That show is just the best man, I mean seriously......a serial killer who kills serial killers!!! come on, how cool is that!? and plus a great storyline to boot

Yep, for T.V. Dexter rocks. I love serial killer films, and Natural Born Killers is one of my favourites. Yhe other one is Karla as I found it so damn disturbing
