Pulp Fiction - Miramax Collector's Edition
(1994)
John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson
Director:
Quentin Tarantino
Rated R
for violence, drug use, language, and sexual content

Movie Synopsis: A spectacular mix of explosive action and wickedly funny humor -- writer/director Quentin Tarantino (Academy Award winnder -- Best Original Screenpaly, Golden Glove winner -- Best Movie) delivers and unforgettable cast of characters -- including a pair of low-rent hit men (John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson), their boss's sexy wife (Uma Thurman) and a desperate, last-chance prizefighter (Bruce Willis) -- in a wildly entertaining big-screen adventure that will both thrill and amuse! It's a fresh and exhilarating motion picture experience that's unlike anything else you've ever seen!
Worth Seeing?
Perhaps one of the most influential films of the modern film noir genre, its intertwining non-chronological plot structure set forth a wave of films to follow, yet none have been able to match its unique approach. Samuel L. Jackson has never been better. Moviegrade: A

DVD Special Features Overall:
The Facts documentary was perhaps the best special feature on the DVD. It contained on set interviews with most of the actors and the director, and the documentary even alluded to how John Travolta's career was saved because of the film. The deleted scenes were the same as on the laser disc. They provided more explanation to John Travolta being Elvis Man. Overall, the extra features will appeal more to Tarantino fans than others, but regardless they are still worth a look. DVD Grade: A-
