Back to the Future t-shirt Gallery

Directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg, 1985's Back to the Future movie was the top grossing film of that year. The science fiction comedy tells the story of teenager Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), who via a DeLorean time machine created by his friend Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown, unintentionally travels back to the year 1955 when his parents were teenagers. Here, we take a trip back in time with a gallery of Back to the Future t-shirts and related BTTF merchandise. Tees include the Biff Back to the Future t-shirt and the BTTF DeLorean and Flux Capacitor shirts. See posters and BTTF DeLorean toys.

The front of these official Back to the Future tees display the movie logo above an image of the modified Back to the Future DeLorean DMC-12 automobile. The car is speeding toward another niche in time, leaving only fire-tracks behind it. In order to commence time travel, occupants enter a target date, and then he or she accelerates the car to 88 miles per hour, activating the "flux capacitor".

The front of this Back to the Future shirt features an image of the BTTF DeLorean car. Above the car, is the phrase, "Time Flies". Wouldn't it be cool if you had your own DeLorean time machine? You could go back in time and actually study for your college exams, or you could go back to the year 1985 and watch the Back to the Future movie on the big screen again. You would of course need a flux capacitor and 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to operate it. If only you could find your way to the future to pick up some more plutonium from Wal-Mart.

Does your DeLorean car need a shine? Take it to Biff's Automotive for a detailing job that is second to none. Located just up the road in Hill Valley, California, Biff's won't bully you into unnecessary repairs. Thanks to a 1955 beating by George McFly, Biff now runs an honest operation. Stop by and see for yourself. Tell him Marty sent ya. Wear one of these cool Biff's Automotive Back to the Future t-shirts to show your support for everyone's favorite car shop. Available in over 30 different styles.

The design on the front of this orange Back to the Future tee displays Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), and the movie's two most recognizable props, the Hill Valley clock tower and the Back to the Future DeLorean car. Marty McFly's "life" jacket is also visible in the image. This unique Back to the Future t-shirt is also available in black. Order it with a Back to the Future toy car.

The design on this olive colored tee displays the recipe for time travel, which comes in handy when you're stuck in Hill Valley 1955 and need to get back to the future. Remember, 1 flux capacitor, plus 1 modified DeLorean time machine, plus 88 mph, equals "The Future". Wear this funny Back to the Future shirt the next time you're in the mood to do a little time traveling, or wear it when you're singing along to Huey Lewis' song "The Power of Love". See this Back to the Future t-shirt in Men's Sizes.

Unleash your retro side in this grey Back to the Future DeLorean t-shirt that displays an image of the infamous BTTF DeLorean car on the front. The open gull-wing doors beckon the driver to jump in and set a destination date. We suggest Nov. 5, 1955. That will give you enough time to find someone to take to the upcoming dance at Hill Valley High. The classic Back to the Future logo is displayed above the car.

Jigga watt? Jigga who? This hilarious tee makes fun of Doc Brown's pronunciation of the term gigawatt. In the movie's script, the word "gigawatt" is spelled and pronounced "jigowatt", which emphasizes the prefix's soft g pronunciation. Today, the metric prefix "giga-" is used in everyday speech in relation to computing, and it is pronounced with a hard g. The fronts of these Back to the Future t-shirts display an image of Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown standing next to the phrase, "Jigga Watt!?!" The design offers the perfect blend of humor, hip-hop, and time travel.

The image on the front of this tee shows off the BTTF DeLorean's gull-wing doors. Beneath the image of the DMC-12 automobile, is the Back to the Future quote, "Where we're going, we don't need roads". Doc Brown utters this line to Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) at the end of Back to the Future Part 1. To Marty's surprise, the car then lifts up into the air and flies toward the future. This Back to the Future t-shirt is available in a variety of styles.

The design on this tee displays a cool tribute to the second film in the Back to the Future trilogy. The design shows a flying DeLorean car bursting through the face of a gold stopwatch. The BTTF Part 2 movie logo is visible above the car. The stopwatch is a great metaphor for the time travel element of the movie, especially since Marty McFly and Doc Brown do more time traveling than in the first film, this time traveling to a retro-futuristic version of 2015, an alternate 1985 and the main setting of the first film in 1955. Order these Back to the Future shirts today.

It takes exactly 1.21 gigawatts of power to run the Back to the Future DeLorean car's flux capacitor. If you don't have any plutonium handy, this might be a problem. Of course, you can always use a clock tower and a lightning bolt. The front of this tee displays "Doc" Emmett Brown's Back to the Future quote, "1.21 Gigawatts!" He learns of this key value in 1955 when Marty McFly visits him from the future. The bright blue design on this tee looks great against the shirt's dark fabric.

"Don't need no credit card to ride this train." The success of the BTTF movie helped to catapult the Back to the Future song "The Power of Love" to the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100. These Back to the Future t-shirts humorously reference one of the most recognizable lines from the popular Huey Lewis song. Huey has a small part in the movie. He portrays the high school audition judge that rejects Marty's band as they perform "The Power of Love," for being "too darn loud."

The front of this stylish Back to the Future t-shirt displays a lightning bolt coming down from the shoulder, intersecting with an image of the flux capacitor, the device that makes time travel possible. The back of the tee displays Dr. Emmett Brown's Back to the Future quote, "1.21 Jigowatts", using the script's spelling of the prefix "giga-" to emphasize the movie's soft g pronunciation of the term. A large number "88" appears underneath the quote on the back of this 100% cotton navy blue tee.

The white design on the front of this Back to the Future shirt offers a look of stylish simplicity without sacrificing the familiarity of the movie's logo. Whether you're working on your flux capacitor, or cruising through time in your Back to the Future DeLorean car, this tee is perfect for either occasion. It is a great gift for BTTF fans and/or admirers of 80's nostalgia. Pair it with a BTTF diecast DeLorean car, available in the right column.
